CatExpress

The Library Commission does not have plans to slash the CatExpress statewide service that has been ongoing since 2006. However, we would like to hear your thoughts and comments. Please send your comments to Karen Goff.

Libraries are very vocal during the bad times and very quite when things are good. The Library Commission wants to hear about the “good” stuff, too. Please remember to call with good news or email Karen Goff.

WVLC Research Guides

The WVLC Research Guides currently include, WVInfoDepot.org Tip Sheets, New & Noteworthy, West Virginia Center for the Book, Disaster Preparedness for West Virginia Libraries, Health Information, and Circulation FAQ. More guides will be added so watch the e-bulletin for announcements.

WVLC Random updates on Technical Services information blog

Replacing the Cataloging Help Desk, the Random Updates blog provides West Virginia professionals and paraprofessionals with information regarding library acquisition, serials, and cataloging information. It also contains announcements for continuing educational opportunities sponsored by the Library Commission and other regional organizations.
